HDFC Bank — REFUND ISSUE AND Deficiency in service.

Sir/Ma, am I am Stuti Mishra, on 19.12.2015 I made an online transaction with mcdonalds India pvt. ltd, due to some technical problem an amount of Rs.267 was deducted from my hdfc bank debit card but order was not placed. I contacted customer care were I was assured that my refund will be done within 7 days. But no refund took place I again contacted the said merchant who assured me that refund has been initiated from there end I need to contact my bank. After that following event took place:- 1. On 2.01.2015 i signed a customer dispute form regarding disputing rs. 267, I was given a complaint reference no. which is 861137 and I was told that within 21 working days I will get to know the status of my complaints. 2. 21 working days passed when I filled the dispute form, nothing has been done, there is no online record of said complain. 3. I visited bank several time but I was told that they only don't know what is going on and investigation team knows, I thought how on earth I am going to contact said investigation team. 4. I was then asked to wait for some more time. 4. After almost 2 months elapsed I went to HDFC BANK BHANDARKAR ROAD PUNE branch on 28.02.2015 just to enquire about the said issue, there i met withh insult and humiliation as one of the bank employee shouted on me in front of everyone. 5. Later they asked me to get a written confirmation from Mcdonalds that they have refunded the money ( which is ofcourse is not my duty to do as whatever the issue is betwwen the bank and merchant) 6. I somehow managed to get an email from mcdonalds stating that they refunded the money and provided me with ARN no. which i submitted with my bank on 2.03.2015 7. I got a call from my bank that the merchant bank has declined the dispute and I have to cotact merchant again. I am very much aggitiated, frustated, insulted from such services of bank. I dnt have time to go to bank day after day for such petty issue and receive humiliation from their employees. And as a matter of fact it is bank duty to contact merchant not mine. They are putting me through mental stress and agony. I therefore plead before the Forum to help me in getting refund issue and take necessary action against the bank and it's employee.
