I am writing to bring to your attention an issue with my HDFC Bank salary account ( IFSC: HDFC0003804).

On 29th July 2026, 12:00 AM, my account was debited with a negative balance of ₹-4088.14, marked as "Hold due to unrecovered service charges." As per RBI guidelines, no account should reflect a negative balance. I request your immediate assistance in resolving this matter.

I kindly request the following:

Reverse the negative balance of ₹- 4088.14 and restore the account to a zero balance status.
Ensure that no such charges are levied in the future unless sufficient funds are available in the account.
Notify me about the steps taken to resolve this issue.
