[Resolved] HDFC Bank — unethically charged for the credit card membership | |||||
I had opted for hdfc bank regalia credit card recently and as per my personal banker this card will be free for me because i am hdfc bank classic customer And there wont be any yearly membership charges or yearly fee for this credit card. However when i received credit card and i did first transaction and i can see rs 2950 has been billed for me on my credit card as a yearly membership fee. This is just cheating with the customers and duping the money from customers. When i raised the complaint with hdfc customer care as per them this is conditionally chargeable and you had to link the credit card with payzapp account and then it would not have been chargeable and so on. And now i must have to pay membership fee. I did get false information from personal banker and bank is unethically charging me rs 2950 as annual membership fee.
