HDFC Ergo General Insurance — Claim process

DEAR SIR HDFC ERGO CLEAR MANTIONED IS THIS IS YOUR HEATH INSURANCE POLICY NO.[protected] IS CONFIRMED. PLEASE CHECK THE POLICY COVER LETTER AND PURPOSE OF DEDUCTION UNDER SACTION 80 D OF INCOME TAX (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1986 Subject: Insurance Company denied the claim of policy. Dear Sir/ Madam My father Mr. D. P. Sharma had died as Corona warrior as on 6th MAY 2020 and HDFC Bank harassing my family for nonpayment EMI’s pending against car loan taken by him for purchase of Renault Triber RXL MT as on 21/11/2019 financed from HDFC Bank, and further the Loan Amount is Backed by (covered) by them with the Credit Shield Insurance (copy of Policy Attached) for protecting the financial loss to them in case of any mishappening with the borrower. AS at the time of finance from HDFC Bank sales staff offered to my father Credit Protection Plan and in this plan they said that in case of any mishappening the nothing will be payable by him, so he agreed to take the policy and paid Rs. 6761.00 for policy from 27.11.2019 to 26.11.2024 i.e. for 5 years policy document no. [protected]-000 (called Sarv Suraksha Plus) with sum insured value of Rs. 5, 00, 000.00 (detail you can reach from the above policy document). My father was regularly paying the EMIs till 1st of June 2020 but due to his death as on 6th MAY 2020(as Corona warrior working with UPRSTC Agra) the EMIs after 6th june 2020 onward or not cleared. After the death of my father EMI’s are pending for clearance so HDFC Bank called me for clearance of due EMIs, then I have claimed them to approach the HDFC ERGO for the Loan Amount outstanding as they had covered the Financial Risk with its policy naming Sarv Shuraksha Plus, but they denied to make the same and threatened and harassed me for possession of vehicle. So I request you to please register my complaint against HDFC Bank and HDFC ERGO Insurance for nonaccepting of my claim, and do the needful as soon as possible. Thanks and Regards.
