Hero Motocorp — engine issue | |||
Hi, I had purchased my maestro edge in the year 2017 and the dealership (Adyar hero moto corp) assured the engine is a life time warranty since this is the first engine manufactured by hero without the alliance of honda. It's been only 2 years and i have rebored the engine 3 times and this is the fourth time the engine is having an issue and the mechanic is again suggesting for a reboring to be done. I really don't understand, the fake promises the dealership try to guarantee to tap customers in persuading them to purchase a vehicle. In one of the services in 2018, the vehicle accelerator cable was not properly coiled when they handed over the vehicle to me, unaware of that, i was about to meet with a collision. I couldn't apply brakes when the vehicle was revved automatically to a 50km speed just by turning on the ignition. They are so careless about the safety and customer experience. I am writing this so an agitated heart, this time i am not going to spend on an engine, please either change the engine or be gracious enough to bear the expense of the vehicle service.
