This is with reference to my membership nos ( H-5/DAE/MUM-162 ) at your resort.
I would like to bring to your notice that, it was given to my clear understanding by your representative Miss Akanksha & Mr.Siddhart at Citi Mall Andheri Link Rd, that, I would be receiving below mentioned benefits from your organization upon taking up the membership.
Below mentioned is the list:
1) Club member ship at Khar Gymkhana, Country Club & Royals Palms. Within in the year they will enroll other clubs as well in suburbs & South Mumbai.
2) If I am travelling in any Hotel in India or Overseas I will have to pay only the Utility charges which is Rs. 450/- to 850/- in India & for Overseas Hotels Rs 1200/- only, for any hotels which are part of the resort and the affiliated resorts & Hotels.
I gifted this package to my wife as we had planned our trip to Dubai. Your executive Siddhart & Akankansha confirmed me that, we have our affiliated hotels in Dubai, if you planning to visit you can book the hotel & you will have to pay only the utility charges of 1200/- & no other tariff you will have to pay, which I confirmed with both of them again & again, for which the assured me for the same. I was interested in club membership, they told me that I can use the Khar Gymkhana & the Country club for my convenience as Turf club is too far & I live in Suburbs.
I had few instance after we received our membership card & the Booklet were all the hotels & clubs names were mentioned. I was flummoxed to see that there were no hotels in Dubai. I had brought this only because I could make my trip to Dubai with my wife. When contacted your office they kept us on hold for long to reply & even after that I did not get a affirmative reply, after few days we tried to book the hotels in GOA & Alibuag from the list you have sent. There we faced a another problem, they said you will have to pay the full tariff of the hotel which was nothing less then 3000/- & will get discount only on food.
I contacted your office to inform them once again about this instance & the reply I got from the lady on the other side (Ms. Kamini) shook me off my chair, she replied saying that, Sir it’s a pure sales men ship the team at Citi Mall must have given you this commitment just to sell this product !!! Then I spoke to a another Muslim lady, She told me she is in charge of all the complaint & query’s. When I told her about the problem I was facing she was talking completely different language & when I asked about the Gymkhana membership at Khar & Goregaon she replied saying that this clubs are not activated yet, & it will take time, I asked he How long ? She said cant say few months but she said she was not sure. When I got little aggressive with her while questioning her, she told me that you don’t have to get so excited you have brought the package for only 40000/-.
I want to ask you, is 40000/- means nothing??? For me it means a lot of money…
I would like to state that I am not satisfied with the service render to me by your company, as the promise benefit, I feel cheated & looted… as whole lot of commitment given to me when selling your holiday package. I also come from a Retail back ground but we never give false commitment like this to our customer. Please do not try to convenience me for this as I would surely do not want to continue with this package were, even after paying so much money I could not take my wife to her desired destination & go through this hell of speaking to the people who does not understand anything about CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP.
Thus I would like to request you for a refund of my payment… or I will have to take this matter up to the Consumer Court.

Bajaj Highland Holiday Homes Pvt Ltd. — Fraud Scam Peoples...Need my Refund ASAP

Subject: Application for Refund of My payment Rs. 35, 000/-
Hi,
I have taken 5 Years Membership on Saturday May 9 2009 From Highland Holiday Homes M.G Road Pune Office through their Sales Manager Siddharth and Marketing person Ganesh and was assured some service and club membership by making Payment of Rs 35, 000 /- cash.
But when i returned home and cross verified with the affiliated club, they directly denied any links with Highland. I visited their pune office on sunday 10 may 2009 and met Manager Siddharth and was assured the refund of my complete payment of Rs 35, 000 /- since i haven’t used any of your service. He asked me to contact your pune office on monday in Morning 10.30 am and so i contacted Pune office and was being told by Pooja to write an Email application and send to us and we will refund your money.
Some points for Cancellation:
1. I was assured by Manager Siddharth that i will get free access to Pan Card Club and Ganga Retreat club at Pune during my membership with highland, but when i personally contacted both the club they denied any such free affiliation and said i will get only 10% discounts on recreation.
2. On my second visit to highland office on sunday Manager siddharth told me that i need to pay Maintenance cost of 300-400 for each club that i use for every year. Again this was never mentioned anytime during the session, later on Siddharth told us that he will pay the maintenance on behalf o[censored]s for every year.
3. I was even assured by Manager Siddharth and Marketing Guy Ganesh that if i opt for any affiliated Resort/hotel for my stay i need to pay only 650 /- as utility charges for any star hotel, but later on i discovered that its 650 /- onwards and this smart guys has never used this word onwards anytime as customers already knows what onwards means and if they would have said this onward i would have never taken the membership.
4. There are some more points which was being told by them but never mentioned on paper or something else written on paper and they have said something else. Even the marketing guy ganesh told me that Highland is Bajaj's Electrical group, on hearing this i said him to call your manager and give me proof that when bajaj has entered the relationship with you, then siddharth came and clarified that its no where related with Bajaj group. Again miss-communication between your same group. Atleast everybody should stick to the same point.
5. On discussing all this issues with Manager Siddharth on Sunday 10 May 2009, he finally agreed (in presence of all the peoples at the venue) for complete refund of my payment of Rs 35, 000 /- and on Pooja's request i am sending this application.
According to the Consumer Court
"It is illegal to tag a service as NON-CANCELLABLE and NON-REFUNDABLE when you are actually not using their services."
This is what being told to us by Manager Siddharth and under which i am applying for a complete refund of Rs 35, 000 /- since i havent used any of your services.
6. Also during my session with Manager Siddharth he told me various things about Highland Holiday and its affiliation but he or his teams never mentioned that the Highland Holiday Homes Pvt Ltd managed by Mr. Manohar P Bajaj was banned by SEBI on July 26, 2001 "debarring the Appellant, its promoters, directors, managers and persons in charge of the business of the schemes, from operating in the capital market for a period of five years"

Now i am feeling more insecure to continue my membership with Highland and needs my refund ASAP.
Now since they have dedcuted my money in one shot, i am expecting the Same while refund.
I request consumer court to take some actions againse such company ASAP.
I also request all peoples of india to stay away from this company.
