On 21st of Dec. we tried booking a hotel in Goa (Sea View Goa, Canacona), at 11:42 we received otp from ICICI Bank Credit Card, punched in the OTP but page became unresponsive. No intimation was received from either Bank or Hotel.com website (no sms and mails). In addition to this our booking was not available on Hotel.com site at that time. Since no information was received we booked another hotel via Oyo rooms. After one month when i received credit card statement, a hefty 21471 was charged for which we didn't stay in that hotel and no information was given.

I request Hotel.com to provide me full refund of that amount. The itinerary number was [protected].

    Hello hotels.com. There is a fake registration of our property Hunza Nexus Grace Resort and Hotel Altit, Hunza on your website hotels.com. We do not have access to the account. That account is showing much higer prices than we offered. It’s showing around 23000pkr to 25000pkr prices per night. Our actual prices are 12500pkr. Please help us to get the access to that account or please remove that account. It effect our business.

        I made a booking for the 15th July 22, for the Grand Burstin Hotel, Folkestone. I arrived at 21.00 due to traffic and was looking forward to parking my car and booking in quickly. The first problemi faced was this Hugh carpark was chock a block with cars, contractor vans, I tried all over and down under the car park but was faced with lots of angry car owners trying to reverse out as they also couldn't find the free parking which was available for the guest . Several guests had to pay £30 to park nearby! However this nightmare was just beginning as when I entered the Hotel, instead of a quick booking there was a long que going right out the door, with babies crying and people really stressed out . To add to the awful scene several housekeepers were piling out of the lifts pulling large trolleys of filthy laundry at 21:30 in the evening ! Several customers were already booked in but had gone back to the reception to cancel their booking as the rooms were so filthy and bed linen had stains on them . They had young, tired children with them and were looking forward to a good nights sleep but had to go out late at night to search for another hotel, one family said they would rather sleep in the car than in such a filthy, badly run Hotel. I immediately cancelled my booking, the woman didn't care, didn't try and apologise or use any type of customer service explanations. I use Hotels .com a lot all over Britain and found them very good, but this experience has removed my confidence because if you allow hotels like that on your site it is a bad reflexion on your own standards . I have a couple of photos but it says they are too large to send . Thank you

          Namaste & Greetings of the day from Travel Squad Holidays!!!
          My name is Sanket Gharat and i am a registered Travel agent at Fab hotels from October 2020 I did a lot of bookings since then and I was informed that my commission would be transferred to my account directly end of the month but didn't receive the same.
          After that my Account manager Mr Som Purohit left Fab hotels and everything went on hold. Then my account was handled by Pradeep sharma he also kept on giving dates to release my commission after some time he also left Fab now there is no one to assist me on when will i receive the commission.

          I request the concern person to look into this matter and release my commission at the earliest.

            We booked today two rooms at hotel gohar in Dalhousie but when we reached there hotel manager said we have no rooms availability. All the rooms are book. Hotel. Com site are booking rooms without our permission. We paid rs. 4480 for two rooms to you by debit card so kindly refund my amount. Please give me update regarding the same.

              After booking confirmation from your company hotel is denying to accept my booking. Hotel is saying that we have never tied with hotels.com.

              I have called 11 times with your customer care and no one have provided me any solution.

              It's totally fraud and harrasment case from your company to me.

              Now I am complaining a legal and court case of fraud and harrasment case against your company.

                  Dear Sir/Madam,

                  This is with reference to our 9 nights Hotel booking made through Hotels.com with Hotel Villa De Orange, Goa bearing confirmation number[protected] checkin in on December 23, 2021 and check out on January 01, 2022 and reference to our telecom bearing case No. 96859061.

                  During our stay, we encountered a number o[censored]nsatisfactory service levels that I think you should know of and hopefully do something about.

                  1) No covid checks were followed at the time of check-in.
                  2) No cupboard was provided in the room which is contradictory to the images shown on your website for Deluxe category room. Please note that since we had booked the hotel for a total stay of 9 nights we had a lot of luggage on us and had to adjust with a table provided on request. It was shocking to not have a cupboard in a hotel that charged Rs. 5000/- per room night. Even the basic category hotels provide for storage.
                  3) No refrigerator was provided in the room as mentioned in the amenities/room information on your website.
                  4)The shower in the room was not functioning. The pressure/flow of the water was literally just 10%. We complained about the issue on the second day of our stay and subsequently in total three times during our stay in the 9 days but the issue was left unattended. On the 8th day of our stay only when we raised our voice we got a call in the night that they are sending the technician to which we denied as it was pointless for our issue being attended to on the last night of our stay.

                  I hope you agree with me that this type of service is completely unacceptable at so many levels. It is not the kind of treatment we would have expected from a hotel stay wherein i have paid a total of Rs. 44, 888/- for 9 nights.. I am very disappointed from this bitter experience.

                  I would like to hear your thoughts about my complaint pointwise and the steps that you are willing to take to address the same.

                    The Ashoka hotel on howrah, dubson lane. Hotel staffs and rooms are very cheap and toilets are dirty. We checked two rooms and both were extremely dirty and then staff on phone started demanding more money to provide us clean room and bathroom. There were flies all over the room and on toilet pots sitting everywhere. No hygiene and cleanliness in times of covid 19, no precautions and masks.
                    This hotel should be unlisted from makemytrip.They are fooling innocent people showing different rooms online.
                    People can get sick in theses types of places.
                    Makemytrip should watch careful kya before listing any such hotels on this platform.We trust you with our money and this is what you give your customers.
                    I am very disappointed you agould go and see the complete hotel in under construction only.In rain the outside lobby entrance is flooded with drain water . Such negligence and unhygienic place is this hotel to stay at.

                      I reserved a room in a hotel in İstanbul for a night and paid but after a while the hotel called me and said that they don't have availability, although it seemed vacant in hotels.com... So I tried to cancel my booking but couldn't succeed. I wrote to hotels.com and informed them about the situation. They seemed to do something but at the end they wrote to me that they could do nothing about this... Such an irresponsibility is not something that I can accept.. they got the money and in order to not to refund, they collaborated with the lousy hotel... I would highly recommend to anybody to think twice before working with hotels.com... :(

                        We have booked room on the date[protected] and your booking confirmation number is[protected]. While we went to check in the room the hotel was locked and the next day morning we went to check in again the hotel management replied us that all room was sold out and there wasn't our name in bookings.We are very disappointed with this service and we were hung dry in the middle of the night .So take necessary actions and refund our booking cost .

                              I have a booking confirmation at Smile Patagonia Hostel - Adults Only from 18 to 24 of January . Hotels.com confirmation number:[protected]. The booking was made from the email address: [protected]@oxigentour.ro. The same address I am sending you an email right now.
                              Total amount: $1, 152.00

                              As you can see from the attached pictures, the hotels does not look like the photos from the internet or on your website.
                              After 2 days trying to figure out a solution with the manager of the hotel, I contact you.

                              The reality is that the tourists sleeps for 2 nights in bacteria and mold and germs and viruses. This is not normal. URGENTLY I, have to move the tourists from it in another hotels, because I cannot wait more. They are in a bad situation. Also, in a few hours there is night in Argentina – and Smile Patagonia and neither do you find a solution for me.

                              I am waiting for your solution. I don’t ask compensations. I event don’t ask to pay the others hotels nearby that have expensive rooms. No, I ask just the money back, because it is impossible to sleep in this situation. Two of the girls are already in the Hospital Dr. Augusto Essmann because they were allergic to the bacteria in the room. One of them have respiratory difficulties and the other a small form of anaphylactic shock.

                              I want a full reimbursement of the money paid.

                              If I will not receive any mail from your part, I will consider that you are part of the Smile Patagonia problem, and we will resolve this in the legal manner. I am very sorry for this situation.

                                I booked the room by using their platform of hotels.com, money got deducted but i did not recd any confirmation, later they denied that they haven't recd my funds.

                                Then i followed up a lot and send the bank statement in which it was reflecting that money has been recd by their organisation.

                                Finally that they agreed that they have recd my funds but not ready to refund mentioning that you have used the services where when i sent to the hotel they said your rooms are not reserved hence you avail this facility.

                                    Substrandrad food was served in a marriage function having stones in rice and other dishes like dal, paneer was saur, other dishes was smelling sour and also no bill was given to the person who paid for the marriage bill.
                                    When asked to give bill of function they started fighting with the party and started abusing them. Waiters brought knifes from the kitchen and started threatning the marriage party and misbehaving with the father of the girl and boy both.

                                      On the outset, I would like to bring to your notice the horrendous experience I had with a recent hotel booking made from your website.

                                      The booking details are as follows:
                                      Booking made : 3rd August 2016.
                                      Booking Confirmation No. :[protected], Colmar Beach Resort, Goa. Check-in 3st, Dec 2016 / Check-out 1st Jan, 2017.

                                      I drove down from Mumbai to Goa (about 600 KMS). Upon reaching the property I was informed that there is no booking under my name. This came as complete a shock to me.
                                      I had booked 2 Rooms, and your booking receipt clearly mentioned that the booking is "paid for and confirmed".

                                      What is more appalling is the fact that all this happened even while I got a reminder 4 days prior to my check-in date, 27th Dec'16, i.e. ! This clearly indicates that the payment was taken from me and no details and no money was ever transferred to the hotel. A clear case of cheating / fraud. This is the busiest time of the year in Goa and it is close to impossible to find accommodation during this time of the year. Even if one finds a place, it will only come with an extremely hefty and exorbitant price tag!

                                      We reached GOA around 12 pm and were stranded with no place to go. Upon calling your customer care ([protected]), we had to hold the call for more than an hour before we could get a concrete response. We were a group of three people and everyone called from their respective phones to save on time and get this sorted ASAP and get on with our vacation. Screenshots of the call times have been attached for your reference.

                                      All this went in absolute vain as none of your executives were able to help even after almost 2 Hours of our wasted time just holding calls. They kept saying that we will give you a refund, which was a pathetic way of avoiding the situation, rather than finding a solution to this whole mess you put us through. By the time we finished contacting your customer care (with zero result) It was already past 4 PM and we were exhausted. We eventually had to make our own arrangements.

                                      The situation has been so disgusting that your customer care did not have the updated contact number of the Hotel. I had to give them the number so they could contact the hotel. Your staff got no response from the hotel after they contacted the hotel reservation. Eventually, I made the hotel manager speak to your Cust. care executive. The hotel manager bluntly and categorically informed your executive on phone that hotel.com can take care of their guest and the hotel will not be able to help since they have not received any booking details whatsoever from the website.

                                      This has really been an utter shocking and terrifying experience. Not only has it caused us a lot of inconvenience, it has caused mental stress, trauma and has completely spoiled our New years eve plans.

                                      I would want to ask for the complete refund, along with additional compensation for the mental trauma that has been caused during all this havoc we had to go through.
