Hindustan Unilever — Pureit RO + Marvella GKK2 Kit Warranty

Updated by Pbtankit Yesterday after registering my complaint technician visited my house and said that pressure reducing valve is required to reduce the input water pressure as your society water pressure is high, when i asked him for the price, he said it comes with the cost of Rs.610 from Pureit company only. When I asked can i buy it from Market? He said it is not available in the market and if you found anywhere in the market that can be dangerous to filter.

I asked him if we already installed an inlet valve which came with the product(photo attached for reference)), then he said these inlet valves do not reduce water pressure. He asked me that you have to pay Rs.800 for filter and Rs.610 for pressure reducing valve. Since there was no drinking water in the house, I have paid him the amount mentioned by him.

Now, my question is why the company is selling poor quality filters at extremely high prices and why the company is not providing water pressure reducing valves at the time of selling the product to customers.

I want to highlight this matter in the consumer court as the company is making a fool to customers. I want the company to refund my amount for the filter and pressure reducing valve which got charged yesterday by the technician. I will also highlight that the GKK2 kit which got installed in August 2020 for which I paid Rs.3500 + 300 installation charges had cheap quality filters, due to which it got blasted even after having half inlet valve open. And now I am not having trust on Hindustan Unilever and never advise anyone to buy Pureit RO filters.
