I am having 2 hitachi split ac dc inverter, which are almost two year old and out of warranty. This time when summer came up i logged a complain with hitachi for service and ac compressor switch off when desired temperature achieved. Although being dc inverter ac it should not switch off and should go on very low speed. Technician visited and diagnosed as ac gas is choked and need to release all the gas and refill again. Cost for that he explained as rs. 5000/- and rs 500 as visiting charge. Total cost for two ac he demanded for rs. 11000/-. I have heard about gas leak but gas choked i have never heard. Although my both ac cooling is good. Since i did not believe on his diagnosis, i asked him to leave. Now i am puzzled how to get repaired my ac. I am big fan of hitachi. I dont want to get repaired from out side. But hitachi service technician is cheating. Hitachi customer care is saying there are the only service center for my location. So don't have any option now to being cheated. Hitachi should take responsibility and shall ensure no such cheating from their service partners. Was this information helpful? | |||
