We bought Horlicks Lite 15 days back from a grocery shop (Hinoo, Ranchi). After using half jar we found small plastic chips. This is very serious issue because if consumed, can create very serious health problem. We need to file complain against this and try to resolve this issue at the earliest. I have purchased Mother’s horlicks from heMedPlus pharmacy on 07jul15, details as below PKD 04/15 (best before 9 months from packaging) Batch no. 13Z*A1Z. I came to know during consumption that there are parts of cockroach in my milk, when analyzed I found cockroaches in the horlicks. I was extremely shocked and sad to see such a thing, from a brand which we all have trusted for years. It would have been dangerous for health and would have created some kind of food poisoning. We do not how many customers would be suffering….

I purchased 1kg Horlicks from unit run canteen Delhi cantt (Parashakthi URC) vide bill no. 005935 dated 24/6/15. It was printed on top as free gift 2 pcs pet bottles alongwith this product. However only one pet bottles could be given to me by the selling agent stating only one bottle has been received against each bottles instead of 2 bottles as mentioned.Batch No. 25BB4B (20:59) Pkd 04/15. How I can get the pet bottle that has been offered by the company to the customers as apromotional offer.

Usually i cooked in hot water and have daily.one day i was about to eat .After eating 2-3 spoons i notices that worm in it and checked in a cup of cooked oats then i have noticed nearly 5 worms in it .i was literally shocked by seeing in it that to branded company like HORLICKS .later i checked in pack i observed alive worms in it. pack: 1 kg Date of packing : 15/12/14 Batch No:15KB1K..X1mp4/

Dear Sir, <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> I had purchased four Horlick refill pack (2 chocolate 2 plain) from Food Bazaar at Hub mall, Goregaon East Mumbai, as I do every month along with my other groceries. On opening one of the plain Horlick refill pack I found the refill pack was torn from the side &the contents (Horlicks Powder) from inside was stuck to the walls of the box. There was lot of spillage &amp; wastage. On 4th of April I went back to Food Bazaar requesting for a change of refill pack. The person in charge said he could not help me as I did not have the purchase receipt. I told him that I was a regular customer at this store &amp; he could check my card no: 9401 1538 1484 6500. He did not entertain my request at all. He only took my mobile no &amp; said they would contact me, which they did not do till now. I am surprised at this attitude as I am a regular customer of this store since 2009 The cost of this refill pack is Rs. 334 -/- which is very steep for me to take this loss. Hi Team,

Yesterday i purchased 500g Horlicks Oats packet having batch No: 08KA1K..X2 which was packed on 08/12/2013 16:37. When i opened it and put some oats in a clean bowl, i am shocked to see that there are WARMS and INSECTS in it. I tried to prepare breakfast for my kid. If i overlooked it and if my daughter eat that oats i dont want to imagine what have happaned to my daughter. I dont know why they have manufatured such a poor quality product and playing with peoples health.

i have purchased one horlicks elachi biscuits in big bazar abids hyderabad on[protected] after going to home night i tried to eat it getting very bad smell unable to eat it and my wife eat it she got vomting . I met again today to bigbazar abids shop sales man telling it is glucose smell and simply telling that you can made comlaint to above mail address. this is the way of tendency of big bazar staff who can care of it it may be old stock or what happend pl clarify it.

I have purchased a 2 kg Horlicks Regular pack on the month of September 2012 (Mfg date:07/12). when i opened it i found a big big worms inside the packed with their own web like structure prepared inside the packet.
More over sometimes we were giving this horlicks to our 8 months baby to taste. its thank to God tht nothing has happenned.

we are the regular drinker of Horlicks, but this situation restricting all o[censored]s including all o[censored]s to buy any thing of horlicks now.

I have a complaint regarding the bottle of Women’s Horlicks that I purchased some days back (Net Wt – 330 g , MRP : Rs.180 , Packed : 06/12 , Batch No : J0174H )
When I was having my first drink that , at the end of the drink I noticed ‘cement’ like small particles .I ignored it thinking it to some ‘nutrient’.
On my second drink , I again noticed the same ‘cement’ like material , which settled down at the bottom of the cup. And it definitely did not taste like anything that can be eaten .But ,I ignored it thinking ‘Horlicks’ is a good and old brand.
On my third drink , to my surprise , I got a small black colored ‘rubber particle’ in my drink .I again thought , it obviously cannot be rubber particle .But I was not able to chew that particle .Then I saw it carefully , and I was able to stretch it . I have kept that rubber particle safely , in order to produce it as a proof in case if needed.

I was extremely shocked and sad to see such a thing , from a brand which we all have trusted for years !!

I would request this matter to be investigated, so that in future , WE the customers are not cheated , and our health is not compromised !

it is to bring to your kind notice that my father in law who has had a by pass surgery in 1994 has been a regular horlicks drinker since then every day a glass of horlicks in water is a must for him post his garlic and water............
he is 75 now and physically fit and active thanks to the healthy drink, but lately we have started feeling the sugar content in your product has gone higher which is not appreciated as it has been a wonderful association and i don't want him to feel upset for the same and switch to a different drink kindly let us know if that is the case and what measures can be taken . we also tried having it with skimmed milk but of no respite. i personally also drink horlicks for past thirteen years when my elder son was born. please apprise us of the situation!!!

Dear Sir/Madam,
I purchased a bottle of Womens Horlicks - Chocolate flavor,330gm from SPAR-MAX HYPERMARKET,Gopalan Signature Mall,Old Madras Road,Bangalore-560093 on 16/7/2012.

The bottle is chocolate colored and flavor mentioned also states Chocolate flavor.On opening the seal,the contents inside is not the chocolate flavor but another flavor.

How do we get a replacement for the same?


Kindly request you to do the needful as the family members like only the chocolate flavored Horlicks and we have been purchasing Horlicks since a long time.

Hello Sir,
To whom so ever this may concern,we bought
a bottle of horlicks lite for a kid who is 6 yrs old .dt of
manafacture is 03.12. When opened and mixed in milk we have noticed
that it has small worms(Maggots)just to confirm that it was with the
horlicks and not the milk we have taken a container with warm water
and once again mixed the powder,for which it has been confirmed that
their are worms in the horlicks powder which is so tiny and visible only when mixed with water or milk.

Awaiting immediated attention on this issue.

I purchase many types of hot chocolate and have found the taste of Horlicks hot chocolate ihas been really good but when carrying the product with me in a sports bag for example the lid seems to come open. I feel the lid needs to be better made when closing as it does appear to do that job propertly. The company needs to look into the design as it has been very annoying for me recently

I will not be purchasing this product again but will buying from one of your competitors instead

Sir, It came to my notice that the women's horlicks rates are different for the refill and the regular pack. Let me clarify that the refill pack of 200 gms costs Rs 110, while that of the bottle(jar) of 330 gms costs Rs 170. It means that the jars are cheaper than the bottles!!! Instead, the refill packs are always cheaper. I am feeling cheated and would like the concerned authorities to look into this matter.

About a week ago, I purchased Junior Horlicks (500g) at Rs. 170/- from my local grocer. When I opened the seal for using it, I surprised that the horlicks inside is totally denatured into a single solid form, instead of free flowing. When I approached the grocery shop, he just denied that the product is denatured and neither he replaced it, nor returned my money back.

Please do the needful show that the shop keeper does not do the same with others. And he either replace the product or return my money back.

I am purchaseing mother horlicks 500g pack from Pasumai Pharmacy, Coimbatore, Sulur(PO). That pack inside one offer coupon is there Rs.20 ( GET Rs.20/OFF on Womens Horlicks).in instruction no Mentioned that One Coupon purchase only one womens horlicks.

In my Hand 6 Coupon is here. But Pharmacy staff & delars cannot accepted and told me only one coupon is applicable in one product.

Please help me to slow the problem

I had purchased 1 kg Horlicks costing Rs.255/- at about 19.20 Hrs from BIG BAZAAR GHATKOPAR which is included in their Receipt No.000265 St.4712 Tr.26289 today (28.2.2010) Cashier name : Machindra Johare . I asked for the free alarm clock written on the outside cover of Horlicks, to which they told it is inside the pack. But when I reached home and opened the pack, I was surprised that no clock was inside and I felt cheated.

It is nothing but blatant cheating by BIG BAZAAR. They should send an alarm clock, if they are honest enough to my residence (C.408, OM VAIKUNTH, Sindhi Society, Near Swami Vivekanand School, Chembur, Mumbai 71). My resid. phone No. is 2529 7494. I do hope they will respond quickly.
