I have two hotels.com reward nights in my account. Unfortunately it is almost impossible to redeem these reward nights. There is a filter on their website for " redeem free nights". In-spite o[censored]sing this filter, the options that feature cannot be redeemed. Call center is trained to deny anything with diplomacy but not solve the problem in any way. The refuse to share the name of their legal entity in India based on which a consumer complaint can be filed.This website should be banned by the government of India.
Hotels.com customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

    1. I visited london to participate for an exhibition at olympia exhibition centre for which he booked the rooms in access west kensington richmond court north end road london, w148sb, gb[protected] through hotels.com paying rs.89, 785.37 as it was very close to the exhibition area.
    2. However the address given and location shown on the website while making the reservation was different from the place where i stayed. The actual apartment location where i stayed is much far then the false marking done on the maps.
    3. My reservation was done for pin code no. W148sb, however i was informed that myvlocation was at pin code no. W14 9es. The place where i actual stayed was far from the exhibition area, which was very costly, time consuming and very inconvenient for me. I spent 50 pounds every day to take and bring my material to exhibition centre. Also on the reservation email sent by the hotels.com to me it was mentioned daily housekeeping facility but actually it was weekly housekeeping.
    4. I mailed the above facts to hotels.com. The hotels.com reverted back to my mail offering me a coupon of rs. 500 which i can use against the future booking.
    5. Through mail on 28th april 2016, hotels.com informed me that 150 gbp has been approved. And within 72 hours it will be refunded to me, mentioning that it will take 7-15 business days to complete the refund process.
    7. However, i have requested for minimum 50% mentioning that i liked the apartment or else he would ask for a full 100% refund for the same.
    8. On 3rd may hotels.com credited 40, 000/- into my account.
    Hotels.com customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

      We had booked 3 Palms Jaisal Villa for 1 night stay in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan through your website on 09.11.2015. We have paid Rs.7870.99/- for the above mentioned booking on Hotels.com Website through Debit Card. But when we reached to hotel, management of 3 Palms Jaisal Villa informed us that hotel was closed since 6 months. We have not received any other booking against this booking and also not stayed in 3 Palms Jaisal Villa. We are continuously calling their customer care number but there is no response. We faced many difficulties as the hotel was closed and we have to found another booking on our own during our trip. We faced trouble due to their mistake of wrong booking of Website. When we are continuously contacting their customer care they send us mail regarding cancellation policy and told us that, “Should you change or cancel this reservation for any reason, your payment will not be refunded”. We have never cancelled the booking or change the booking. On the contrary, We were not able to check in to the Hotel as the hotel was closed since 6 months and I came to know this thing (that the hotel is closed since 6 months) when I reached to the hotel. How can Hotels.com deny our refund claim as we never check in to the hotel? And if the Hotel is closed then how they accepted the booking for that hotel? Booking Number is[protected] which I got sms from Hotels.com.
      Hotels.com customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

        I booked a room at Dolmaar Resort, BhujiaGhat, near Nainital from Hotels.com for Rs.4540.24 on 2nd October. We got a confirmation mail from Hotels.com with ID:[protected] I was half way down when I called Dolmaar Hotel to check for confirmation. That shroode lady asked me to check with Hotels.com and hurriedly cut the call saying, It was not their fault. We were on call with people from Hotels.com for 276kms midnight. No replacement was made and we had to sleep in our car. Travelling such a long distance and Mental harassment has screwed our journey.
