Hyundai Motor India — Cancellation charges - kun hyundai | |||||
I had paid advance of rs. 5000 to m/s kun united for booking grand i10 from hyundai on 7th october, 2015. Staff at kun ecil branch had made me sign on a order booking form of hyundai motors. They just asked me to sign on the form and said that they will fill up the details themselves, without giving me any opportunity to even look at the terms. The entire form has been filled by them. They collected rs. 5000 from me and did not even give me a receipt for the amount. I had submitted to them all the finance related documents for the loan approval, which they had assured me that will be approved. But after a week, they come back to me and say that the loan is not approved for the desired amount. I was left with no option but to cancel my booking. When i asked them for the refund of my amount, they come out with the terms and conditions of hyundai motors, wherein it is mentioned that the cancellation charges of rs. 3000/- will apply. Neither they had mentioned this during the booking nor had they allowed me to go through the terms and conditions of the booking form. Their sale representative has also accepted that he has not updated us regarding the cancellation charges. I have the recorded conversation on the same. When i discussed with them regarding the cancellation charges, their team leader has behaved in a rude manner. I have recrded this conversation too. I have also observed that the booking form is on hyundai motors name, while the payment they received is on kun united. I wish to submit this letter to the press along with the recordings.
