Hyundai Motor India — Car delivery delay after making full payment | |
I paid full cash of INR[protected] during final payment and 10000 booking amount) at Lakshmi Hyundai Kalyan nagar branch on 29th Jan 2021 against purchase of my new Hyundai santro Automatic Sports variant. Initially the sales consultant (Suresh) committed at delivery date of around 15 days (by 10th Feb). He then called be on 6th Feb and informed that my car is ready and I can take it the next day. But the next day, to my surprise he said that it was some internal mistake and my car is not yet ordered. He insisted me on taking a different colour instead of the one I booked. When I denied, he said that the same colour will take 7 more days to come. When I asked about refunding my money, he told me stories around how the money return process also takes 15 days etc. Finally I agreed on a 7 days delivery time. But now when I am calling him to follow up on my delivery date- he has stopped picking my calls. And when I call the GM of Lakshmi Hyundai- Mr Raghu, he said that automatic vehicles will not be coming this month as there is some problem with manufacturing. I am super surprised with these responses. Being a long time Hyundai customer, I am now losing my trust on the brand. I just need my money back and want to buy a renault car instead.
