Hyundai Motor India — car service negligence which caused serious problems to car and me | |||||
I own a diesel variant of elite i20 (Sportz version). Last saturday i got my car serviced from joshi hyundai service center (Mohali, punjab). After the service, i drove back home and next day when i was travelling to somewhere i felt some problem with car speed, car was not running smoothly at all. After some time, i saw engine oil getting emtpy warning sign, so i stopped the car immediately. After hours of harassment, i got my car back to service center through the help of hyundai rsa. I also had a detailed discussion with mr. Harman from joshi hyundai service center, mohali (Punjab). When the car was raised through crane, i thought of checking the car from downside. What i saw at that moment was unbelievable, engine oil discharge chamber's nob was missing. I was stunned to see that. Anything could have happened if i have not seen that sign, it could have costed my life too if engine got ceased on the mid of highway itself. Next day the took my car in and performed the checks and eventually found that fault is at their end. They actually forgot to tighten the engine oil discharge chamber's nob. So, they started working on it. They changed the nob and performed certain scans for engine and all. Finally, they asked me to test drive the car. Initially, i raised a complaint with hyundai india but after the reports, service center people assured me that everything is fine so i closed the complaint. But real pain came after taking the test drive itself. A whistling sound was coming up continuously while driving and i asked their senior technician to look into it, he himslf drove the car and said there is some issue with the car's turbo part. It needs to be changed totally. So my point is, 1. Is this my fault that my car's main part is getting changed? 2. My car is under warranty and only 1.4 months old, so i should expect this from such a prestigious brand (Hyundai india)? Do hyundai offer these kind of services to their customers? 3. I am getting harassed mentally and physically both because this is single car of our home, we all family members are dependent on it completely. I cannot describe how we are managing as of now and moreover i am taking leaves from my office to see if they are doing their work efficiently or not. I don't want a car with changed parts and that too due to company's negligence. This is not expected at all from such a prestigious brand (Hyundai). I had purchased my grand i 10 car on 2015 august and car only run 16000 after that exide battry not working .and no replace by hyundai .i had contact with hyudai car dealers they r not given by proper support for battry return .still they r complaining me about battry discharged by me.
