Greetings!
I wanted to make a round trip booking from pune to thane, however, it got booked as one-way in error. I realized this and immediately asked my son to call the goibibo call center for help. The advisor who attended the 1st call, asked us to make another fresh round-trip booking within 15-20 mins and he would initiate a complete refund for the entire amount (Rs.235/-) to my bank account for the previous booking (One-way).
When i did so and called back the goibibo call center, i did not get any help. I had to call 5 times thereafter to highlight my issue and each time the advisors gave me different solutions. Also, no one could confirm the correct details of the round-trip i booked. They gave me incorrect information on travel dates and boarding and return time. I was also denied a call transfer to the supervisor on call and was asked to disconnect and that a call back would be made to me within the next 10 mins (Which never happened).
It has been a pathetic experience with goibibo call center executives in the past month as well, they don't know to tackle customer's problems and give incorrect information not knowing the importance and urgency of calls made my customers. They do not let the customer speak (Interruption) and give scripted answers!!
I later learnt that i will be refunded only rs.85/- and felt rather cheated by the executives who told me about 100% refund. It is not about the money, it is about your company's ethics!!
