If a mistake of fll name is of 1 letter, the passenger usually can not face any prob.
The air carrier duty is to correct the passenger name, if a mistake of more than 1 letter in the name, free of charge or for a fee.
The service provider / air carrier has max 15 days to make the correction in the eticket or
to issue the e-ticket new, if the name is incorrect in full (for example, a traveller is a different passenger) .
If the air carrier failed to respond in max 15 days.
Note, it is usless to request the same subject matter more than 2 times from the same service provider.
All disputes in 15 days following the correct complaint receipt are subject of the examination by Indian court.
There are 3 different regulations can be involved in such cases.
The expected expences for legal assitance can be:
-- government fees [200-2500 ruppes ] per a passenger,
- legal fees for assistance of a lawyer or of legal professional [ from 8000 till 15000 rupees total] for such type of cases.
ADVISE: save each e-ticket / correspondence with the air carrier or with the servcie provider.
