I was trying to lock the price fare from Raipur-Ahmedabad-Banglore Flight on 18th April for 21st May. Initially it asked me pay 299/- but upon proceeding to pay it charged me 1300/- I paid the amount only to face my second grievance which is now the flight was also taking a halt at Bhopal which wasn’t mentioned earlier. I read the T&C for price lock and it seemed that I could change my flight before 20th April. Upon reached to the customer care at 1 am IST, he told me his supervisor has denied the request and my money would be lost if i do not book the flight. Worst case is Goibibo is making money with wrong information and customers like me are facing issue with undisclosed halts and extra payments. I was on call with the customer care for nearly an hour to change my flight and make it a direct flight with nearly twice the cost than the previous one but they couldn’t resolve my issue and even called me lucky to face such an issue. He then assured me he will resolve it the following day but here I am writing this complaint because today (19th April), I called the customer care again several times and all they did was put me hold for 15 mins and cut the call!
I have never faced such kind of issue with any company and it’s just extreme harassment that a customer has to go through for their careless or app glitches.
