[Resolved] ICICI Bank — Accessing savings account | |||||
I am having real trouble accessing my money. my account has been frozen now. i visited icici bank anna nagar branch on friday (oct 7) and submitted my kyc documents. the branch officer confirmed me that the documents will be processed the same day and the account will be activated by after noon friday (oct 7). my card is still blocked, i called customer care they confirmed that there has been no request raised to activate my account. I visited the branch 3 times last week to access my account. this is going to get even worse. I am paying lot of money on foreign transaction fees because i cant access my icici account. imagine a bank as big as icici unable to get a customer to use their money, after visting the branch 3 times in person, calling customer care 10 times, emailing customer care 5 times. raised complaint form 4 times in their website. not one person can help me. Icici bank employees are inefficient, their system is broken. providing access to customer's account is their primary job, if they can't provide this basic feature why are they even running a bank? All my requests and concerns have been going to garbage. i came to india on a short trip, my vacation will be over on wednesday, i cant get my account activated because of bank holidays. my vacation was ruined by icici bank! this has been the worst customer service i have ever received. i am going to close my account as soon as i can and never ever go near this place.
