ICICI Bank — Account showing negative balance despite having money

As of today evening i has ₹15, 000 in my account. I took a cab back home and tried to pay the driver using UPI, only to realise my balance is suddenly ₹-1, 383.32

When i check my account summary it says ‘Available balance’ is ₹15, 000 but another heading called ‘Total Available Balance’ shows ₹-1383.32.

No email, no sms, no intimation has been sent. My bank has just out of the blues decided to hold my money. I am little worries about what is going on. Are banks allowed to behave in this manner?
