[Resolved]  ICICI Bank — Added insurance to my Personal loan

Dear friends,

Im a latest victim of this great bank. I have taken a loan amount of rs.3 lakh for 5 years tenure. Name of the person who came for collecting the documents is Anish. He played a major role in this drama. While he came for collecting the focuments i stressed that insurance SHOULD NOT be added. He said not even a single penny would be taken from my loan amount apart from the processing fee of 1000/- rs. Approx.
Inspite of telling they have added insrance to my loan. When i called the other great person named PRASHANTH who is the manager in edapally icici branch he asked me to give a cancelled cheque. Which i gave anish the very next day. All this happened in the month of june. After 20 days i got a call from anish saying that the cheque leaf which i gave him and asked me to give another cheque leaf. Doesn't this sound silly for a bank person. (During this time i got a job in Trivandrum and i had to move to trivandrum) this call came in the month of july. At that time i didnt have any cheque leaf and requested fir a cheque book ehich came in a weeek and that time i relieved from the company j was working for. Then when i called anish he said he has relieved from icici. See how great they are! Then I called the manager and he told me to give the cheque leaf in his edapally branch. So all the way i came from trivandrum to cochin. I called him after giving the cheque leaf + a blank paper with my sign on it. He said i need to sign another form which he will be sending it to my email address. I gave him the mail address also. After 2 weeks time i didnt get any mail and messaged him for the form. For that he just replied back saying it will take time. Today[protected] i called him to know the clear status. You know what he said 'you will not get 5400 rs(my actual insurance amount) and you will get only 2400 rs. Because i used insurance for last 3 months. Then started explaining about the policy. I stopped him and said i know those stories and that was not i needed and not to take action anymore. See guys do you find any wrong action from mg end.

I told them clearly i dont want insurance


I gave him the cheque leaf ontime and he missed.

They delayed purposefully so that i will say ok to insurance.

Excellently played by insurance

Guys please be careful with icici bank.
