On June 12th 2019, balance in my fastag account was Rs. 5. Since I have to travel on June 15th, I decided to transfer an amount of Rs. 200. When I visited the ICICI fastag website ( https://fastaglogin.icicibank.com/CUSTLOGIN/Default.aspx?ReturnUrl=%2fCUSTLOGIN%...⇄ ), they mentioned that the easiest way to recharge fastag account is via UPI payment. So, for UPI payment, I created a VPA as instructed by ICICI fastag website( netc.@icici). And then I transfered the amount of rs.200 on June 13th. This transfered amount, even now, is showing as "Tag Deposit". It was not credited as tag balance. When I travelled on June 15th, toll fee was deducted from icici fastag and the balance became negative. At present my account balance is -29(minus 29). And I got a message saying that my account got deactivated. But still, the amount i transfered is still credited as Tag deposit. I contacted the customer care twice to solve this issue. Each time I called they registered a complaint and I got a complaint registration number. That is it. Nothing else happened.i contacted the near by icici branch. They also didn't solve it. I want my account to be activated again and the amount I transfered must be credited in to by tag balance. Also, please instruct ICICi bank to mention the steps to transfer amount to fastag account by using UPI clearly.
