This is with reference to the multiple complaints raised against with ICICI bank me towards an transaction happened on 11 Nov 2013. It is dissapointing that i have not received appropriate resolution for my complaint from any of the channels. Please find below the summary of incident :
•On 11th Nov'13 at 1 pm my father has visited nearest ICIC ATM center in Shivam Road, Hyderabad to withdraw some cash.
•Initally he requested for 10, 000 but there was no response from the ATM. He again tried for INR 5000 and the result was same, no response from the ATM.
•He waited at the ATM for 15 min until the next cutomer visited. Another customer tried using the ATM and he was unsuccessful as there was no response from the ATM. My father approached a staff from ICICI direct branch located near to the ATM and he advised that it might be a technical error and generally it gets credited within 6 hrs
•Upon the notification of debit of INR 5000 from my account, i raised a complaint with the customer care and they credited the amount back and mentioned that if they find discrepency they will debit the amount again from my account for which i agreed.
•On 14th Nov'13 the amount of INR 5000 has been debited again advising reversal of the transaction.
•On 16th Nov'13 i visited the ICICI bank at Nallakunta to register the complaint. On 18th Nov'13 i have received a response stating that the they cannot reverse the transaction as it has been paid completed.
•On 19th Nov'13 i visited the branch again to seek help for further investigation into this matter. A written request has been made asking for CCTV footage. I have not received any response till 2 Dec'13 till i visited the branch again.
•Mr Kishore deputy manager updated that the images would not be available due to camera error. I have requested the branch manager to look into the issue as i was confident that the ransaction didnt happen. They advised that they will get back to me with a response.
•There was no response till today and hence i visited the branch on 7 Dec'13 and finally Mr Kishore mentioned that they cannot do anything on this matter. I have requested for the response in writing and i was given in ICICI letter head.
I have been associated with ICICI bank since 3 yearsand i have never registered this kind of complaint. I am confident that the transaction did not happen and hence i request you to look into this matter with appropriate investigation and evidences. The CCTV footage is not working, and there is no presence of security guard at the ATM center. PFB my details
