[Resolved] ICICI Bank — blunder made by icici bank | |
Hi all, I would like to share you all the blunders made by icici bank on my savings account. Firstly icici reissued the new debit card & before i would receive the newer issued card, they blocked my current card which left in a panic situation specially when i was in hospital & wasn't able to make payments of the ongoing treatment. Then i gave a call to their customer care which in turns came as the ugliest & worst thing happened till now. I first had a word with vineet (Customer service executive), i briefed him about my situation, which in turns he told me that my current card is blocked since 2014, in which i had a great laugh as i have been making payments everywhere using the same card & then he wasn't able to identify which debit card i am using. Then i asked for the escalation in which he passed my call to his supervisor Then i had a word with vishwanath (Shift supervisor), he their told me an entire new story, he told me that i have 2 debit card issued for same account (First of all how someone can have 2 different cards for same account active at the same time), then things turn more ugly when both the debit card number he mentioned was not owned by me & he too didn't have any idea of or any info of my current debit account. He then blocked both the debit card showing up in their database, i then asked him to pass this call to their manager. Then i had a word with this lady known as (Meera shah (Thane office) (Unit manager), she first of all doesn't really have any manners how she should talk to a customer, i was amazed how she can even become a manager (She was very very harsh by her tone), she made me realize how big mistake i have made by reaching her. Just one word comes in my mind while i was talking to her pathetic customer service. I told her i will raise a complaint against her & icici, which in returns she said (Do whatever you want to do), just imagine a bank saying this that too when its your money in their bank, how a bank can be bigger then their customers. No customer sentiments. Finally they didn't even apologized for the entire thing & said it's a machine problem, we can't help you. I was not able to do a payment of 34500/- inr to the hospital from my debit card due to them, just pathetic & worse, lost my trust, you don't even know what card a customer holding up. Poor service. Please guys don't open your account in icici bank, they will leave you in a situation where you will feel helpless. Was this information helpful? | |
