[Resolved] ICICI Bank — Bond redemption amount | |||
Sir/madam, Myself b raviteja s/o. B devadanam, recently my father expired due to covid on 23.07.2020 and while checking his belongings for settlement of lic, bank account, bonds we found the icici bajaj scooter bonds. The said bond was invested in the year 29.01.1999 which is going to mature in 29.06.2023 for a period of 24 years 5 months. The bond was raised through 3i infotech. I forwarded mail to 3i infotech for redemption amount and process of settlement on 29.08.2020. They forwarded the mail to icici and in turn i received mail from icici on 31.08.2020 states as Dear sir/madam, We refer your mail below. Bond holder no : 0022884 Name : b devadanam Nominee name : mary swarnatha Redemption date : 29.06.2023 Redemption amount : 25000/- As the first holder, is no more, you are requested to forward the following documents to our below mentioned address to enable us to transmit the bonds in favour of the nominee. 1. Original bond certificate 2. Copy of death certificate of mr. B devadanam attested by bank manager/notary public. 3. Request letter signed by (Mary swarnatha) with his/her signature attested by the bank manager, where he/she maintaining the bank account and his/her address and bank details. 4. Self attested copy of pan/ address proof / original cancelled cheque where name has been printed on the cheque leaf. As the period of the bond completed nearly 21 years and asked them to provide the details i. E., break up of bond /year wise details and also clarification in this regard. Till now i didn't receive any mail or phone call from them. The customer care team don't have any contact numbers, 3i infotech team also not responding.
