[Resolved]  ICICI Bank — charges on insufficient funds maintained while cheque releasing

I have submitted a cheque to sbi branch a monthly back of amount 11.8k however i was under impression that they have already debited it but on last saturday (16th sep 2017) i directly received a sms stating my cheque has returned to due to insufficient funds and when i checked my account they have debit rs 413 from account as charges against insufficient funds. I also had conversation with representative in the nearest bank and they are also not ready to accept what happened.

I agree that i have keep the sufficient balance but in the current scenario neither sbi nor icici informed me before putting the cheque, in case of icici bank, if the cheque was dated a month ago, then icici bank represtative should have informed before charging me, in the similar example, i also have my account in kotak bank, where when they found my balance is low, they politely informed me and gave me the 24 hours to maintain the balance, i really appreciate kotak banks approach where as in case of icici bank, i have started feeling the icici bank only believes in looting customers, it not the matter of just 413 rupees but its something related to ethics.

I have salaried account with icici bank, i will make sure i go back to hr i will also inform them about this incident.

Is there any way i am going to get my money back or i just let me know what is the next level in escalation matrix..

Whenever new issue of IPO comes invest online doesn't show apply online option. Whenever selected it shows site under repair contact nearest asaba branch. Others option like fix deposit, mutual fund is functional.
This is a way do drive the customer to its own brokerage house. Highly objectionable.
