[Resolved] ICICI Bank — credit card charges for no credit card account | |||
Hi team, This is shobana, icici customer for 10 years. As a frustrated customer, i would like to bring this unresolved issue in your perusal. During the joining of my company i was offered with icici debit and credit card as a salary account. But in a few months i have returned my credit card without swipe a single penny. After some year, i was charged for 8775 not properly returned my credit card. So i went to icici credit card department, ambattur branch and asked for the reason. They said the charge is against the usage of credit card and not followed the procedure for return. But i have sent the card to icici head office before the issue starts. Then i spoke to one of the person in your legal department and i gave a letter described all the issues. After that they promised me that they will resolve the issue and this will not happen in future. After 2 months the debited amount rs.8775 has been credited back to my saving account on (). As per current debt manager kasim riyaz s, this case was handled by imtiaz ahmed on 2010. Now in december, 2017 again icici credit card department tried to detect the same amount but due to insufficient balance they leaned my account without my knowledge. When i asked the savings bank department for the reason, they said it was charged against the credit card issue. I again went to icici credit card branch in ambattur and spoke to mr. Kasim riyaz s debt manager. I explained all the issues that i faced last time to mr. Kasim riyaz, but to my surprise he is telling me a different story to get resolved. He wanted a proof for the above issues and i showed the transaction details of debit and credit with dates. But he said that he cannot take statement as a proof and asking me for the noc letter which i was supposed to be received from the credit card department last time. They have not given any letter to me last time which was a fault from the bank side. Now they are again asking me to pay this amount to close this issue. It is the bank who is solely responsible to follow the procedure. Due to their lack of knowledge in properly closing this issue, why should i need to pay this amount for the card which is not used by me. Mr. Kasim riyaz said that there is no written letter found from the bank end, then what happen to my letter which i have submitted earlier. Now the question is on what basis they have cancelled my credit card and how they have returned my money on 2010. He is not ready to answer any of my questions and saying rs.8775 is a small amount, so he can’t handle it. I was really shocked to hear this from mr. Kasim. I said if you can’t fix my issue, i will close my account from icici, he said close and go. I said i will complain this issue in consumer court. He said go and do, you will get nothing from bank. Now tell me what i should do now, this is the way you treat the customer? We both have proof from our end, why looting a customer money without their knowledge and without any reason. I’m really exhausted and frustrated at this moment. This is my final mail to you and hope you can fix and return my money back. If no one fix, i will take this issue with consumer court.
