ICICI Bank — Credit card - closure issue | |||
I have been trying to get closure on my expired credit card but the ban keeps charging interest and sending me statements. I have called customer care a number of times for solution but they refused to close my card citing pending charges. I have cleared all payment as advised by customer care and they told me to call a week later to close the card. When i called again they told me the billing cycle had started and interest has been charged. I want a transcript of all the calls i have made and the responses i have been given. Also i am no longer accepting any statement from icici so i am not aware how much they have charged me after request of closure. I will not take any responsibility of paying any more money to icici credit card and i will not negotiate on this. I cannot waste time calling customer care. They don't give solutions. I have had an excellent experience with stanchart and i wish these icici take some lessons from them. Kindly take action immediately. Was this information helpful? | |||
