[Resolved] ICICI Bank — credit card fraudulent transaction | |
On dec. 2, '17 i was in a span of 2-3 minutes debited twice in australian dollars for transactions not made nor authorized by me. I immediately called up the callcentre person who asked me to file a written dispute claim and they blocked my card. However after a month they say that i have to pay the amount since the merchant is saying that i have made the transaction and he has shown some charge slips which do not bear my signatures. On asking for further clarification, since no otp nor any pin was given by me how can the bank debit the transaction to my account i was told to contact the merchant myself and resolve the issue with him.
