[Resolved] ICICI Bank — Delay in opening my NRE Account | |||
I have been out of India since Aug 2014 and came to visit India in May 2015 and was wishing to open a NRE account with the bank and visited ICICI Bank branch in Khodiyar Colony, Jamnagar. Promptly they gave me the card and they came to my place to collect all the documents and i was surprised with the privilege given for opening account but the things soured after i flew out of India. I have submitted all the required Documents when they visited my place on 3rd June, 2015 as asked by the Official and they provided me with the ATM and even the Account No. for the same then i flew back to Gulf and even after frequent inquiry to the officials i can not check the status of my account as of now. Once they asked me to provide the same document again and i mailed that too but still there is no response from the person regarding the same. Either they don't know how to open NRE account or they don't know the Required documents for opening an NRE Account. Was this information helpful? | |||
