[Resolved] ICICI Bank — direct debit error after doing a manual payment | |||
My name is jofa dsouza and im a customer using icic bank and a credit card i was overseas and so there was an oustanding payment of rs 9894.08 for two months. I called them after the due date and made the payment of rs 10, 425.08 which included the auto debit decline fee as well for two months and late payment fee of two months. After another day my account was being debited with rs 9894.08 again after making the payment on 14/06/2018. I called customer care to refund the amount and get a compensation as it was their error. The advisor debanjali said it was not their fault and that it was my fault and that because of direct debit being active it was charged. I asked to speak to a supervisor but she said that there is no supervisor available and so i wanted to cancel the account she said that can only cancel the account once the entire credit is being used. Kindly provide justice as the employee needs to be given feedback and supervisors should be available at all times to handle customer escalations and complaints. Was this information helpful? | |||
