I have a EMI with HDFC Paper Finance of INR 1728 that gets auto debited every month on 5th. For the month of September it was due on 5th September 2023, however due to some financial emergencies my account did not have the sufficient amount for the deduction. Later I had called the HDFC Customer Care and asked them for the links to repay the loan amount. They had provided me the links to repay the loan amount and the fine of INR 531. I had repayed the amount and the loan to HDFC on 12th September 2023. Yet ICICI Bank debited 590 from my account twice on 19th September 2023 and 22nd September 2023, without any prior communication or even providing a proper reason for doing so.
