ICICI Bank — ECS Return Charges Levied Incorrectly: Resolution Requested

Sir,
This morning (i.e. on July 6, 2021) I received a message from ICICI Bank stating : " Dear Customer, ECS of Rs 44000 towards PASFAR TECHNOLOGIES from Account XX4764 has returned due to INSUFFICIENT FUND on 05/07/2021.Applicable return charges will be levied. "
This outcome is completely wrong and uncalled for as it's an error on the side of PASFAR Technologies which happens to be the payment clearing party for Apollo Finvest(India) Ltd.
At the time of approval for my consumer loan of 44000 from the said company I was asked to submit 2 cheques, one for the full amount of 44000 and another for the EMI of 5500. The cheque numbers were 000650 and 000651. Both of these cheques were towards Apollo Finvest India Limited.
I have the loan document and sanction letter which proves that I'm liable to repay the loan EMI for the tenor of this loan and not the full sum at one go.
I plead you to review and take action on this case by annulling any return charges because it is unfair and also because it can affect my credit history and ratings.
Regards,
Shantanu Ganguly
