I feel very disappointed by the experience i have had while dealing with the icici bank for forex transactions, the bank staff is not at all sensitive while dealing and seems to have no interest in customer’s interest.
I have sent my documents for outward remittance on 1st of november and my bank account has got debited on 5th of november (A delay of 5 days) and till today (Delay of 12 days for monday) i don’t have the documents in my hand to be able to send it to port for clearance of goods for what i have already incurred heavy charges for demurrage and detentions and also our goodwill is been hurt in the international market for our un-ability to clear the goods on time.
None of the bank staff is ready to accept our phone call and inform us about the status. Once picked up our phone and informed us that he will get back to us in 5 mins about the status and now not picking up our phone.
The bank shall be solely liable for the delay and penal charges for the same. And the mental harassment which the bank has done to us and damage made to our goodwill shall also be noticed and dealt with.
