ICICI Bank — Forged signature used by ICICI to process Insurance - Unable to produce original copy when requested | |||
Hello, I applied for personal loan through ICICI - LPBNG[protected] and wanted to foreclose my loan during May 2015. When 5.61% foreclosure charges were applied along with my principal amount. I requested for a copy of loan agreement which outlines the terms and conditions of the loan account. ICICI produced the loan application form, MOST IMPORTANT TERMS AND CONDITIONS and Insurance application form. The signature on the Insurance application form received from ICICI did not look like mine so I requested for a more clearer copy so I can make sure it was my signature. Also the Most Important terms and conditions did not have a tick against "I have applied for an insurance policy along with this application" question. Insurance policy was sold to me by ICICI and 990/- was deducted when my loan was disbursed. I was insistent on ICICI to produce me with the original copy of insurance application form to validate my signature and everytime I send an email, they used to use scripted reply stating "We affirm that ICICI Bank at all times acts with diligence, in good faith and in no manner prejudicial to the interests of its customer." however couldn't produce me with what I requested for. Finally after arguing with so many employees of ICICI at different levels namely Deepak, Narender from Bangalore Call Centre team, Kalisarjuna from ICICI Hyderabad Head Service Quality team and finally with Ashish who is Kalisarjuna's manager from May till date, ICICI has decided to process a refund of 990/- without providing any explanation/apology/courtesy call. Such poor customer service. Also if I would have never requested for retrieving the archived documents, fraudulent activity of ICICI using a forged signature would have never come to light. Below are the allegations against ICICI I would like to raise under, 1. Criminal case for falsifying a customer's signature/forged identity 2. Mis-sale of a product without consumer's consent 3. Unable to produce the original copy of document 4. Improper investigation done from May`15 till date I would like to get a callback from someone above Ashish's level who can make decisions, to discuss the way forward of how ICICI wants me to take forward these charges upon them.
