[Resolved] ICICI Bank — fraud / dispute transaction | |||
Hi All, I'm Rajib and I was charged 797.68 at 12.32. I recieved a msg at 12.32 on 16th August 2018, saying "dear customer you have made a debit card purchase of inr. 777.40 on 16th August 2018, Info. Msi*digital riv." When i went on google and typed msi digital riv, i was shocked to see so many complaints against icici digital riv. When I raised the dispute with icici bank, I was suggested to block my card and wait for 5 working days to get the new card. My point is that if the transaction has taken place without my consent, then why should I suffer by blocking card? Also, the customer care person said that they can't confirm the refund. When I asked about so many complaints on same "DIGITALRIV" FRAUD TRANSACTION, he replied that I should check the number of refunds made by ICICI bank on the same issue. This is an activity which has been very frequent with ICICI bank and their approach to customers is as bad as SBI. I also request all to move away from ICICI BANK.
