[Resolved] ICICI Bank — fraudulent transactions on debit card | |||
On March 21st 2019 around 5.30 AM unauthorized transactions happend on my icici debit card.Since 3 to 4 transactions of higher amount are declined due to low balance, I have received automated call from icici customer care to confirm the transactions. Then I have check my account in which amount of Rs.4017.55 has been debited without any OTP or debit message to my registered mobile No. Immediately I have filed complaint against it to the bank and today my complaint request is closed stating am liable to pay the amount as they didn't receive response from merchant. I have received investigation document from the customer care which has details that the transaction is made in one website in UK by some person and my card and my name is mentioned in the online transaction. So the ICICI bank investigation team has closed complaint stating its the authorized transaction. I asked for the proof to say that its authorized and to provide the reference number for the otp which bank send for every transaction. But they dont have answer for that and asked me to contact merchant for further details or raise complaint to cyber crime. I didn't do any online transaction and i want my money credited back.
