As per the ICICI intimation I was supposed to renew my gold loan by 20th Nov 2021.
For this purpose ICICI have put lien on my account.
I had visited the branch(ICICI ANANTHANAGAR ELECTRONIC CITY, BANGALORE) on 19th Nov. As per the deputy manager instructions I have transferred the amount required for Gold Loan renewal to my savings account on 19th. It's been 2 days still my gold loan account is not renewed and also ICICI have not removed lien on the account.
Visited the ICICI branch to seek the update on this. To my surprise they said the departement related to lien are taking time to make my account active and it will take time till Monday.
Also I have paid all renewal charges required by the bank till 19th NOV and bank couldn't process the request since I have arrived to bank at 12PM. Now they have taken charges till 20th NOV. Reason they gave for this is, I should have arrived in bank before 11.30. I belive bank working hours from 10 to 5.
I didn't expect this kind of support from ICICI. When we don't pay the amount on time on daily basis we get calls and when we go to clear off the dues, ICICI is simply dragging without resolving the issue of the customer. Also by dragging the issue they are making sure customer to pay extra dues.
I duly seek justice for my issue as ICICI treating it's customers as slaves and treating however they want to. Was this information helpful? |
