ICICI Bank — Harrassment of ICICI collection agents

Sir, I have been having terrible financial problems for the past few years and haven't been able to pay some of my on-going loans. To the extent that we sold off our house also. At that time we settled many bank loans and when ICICI was called for the settlement they did not settle it at that time saying that we were not yet eligible for a settlement. I want to complain against an agency which has been calling our neighbours and my son's college - head of the department and threatening them and telling them all lies. They have done this inspite of me speaking to them in the morning. This person threatened me saying that he would take care of me. Sir please look into this matter with utmost urgency. ICICI bank collection agents have caused a lot of problems in our lives even earlier and ruined all our relations, telling people that we have told them to collect the money from them. Calling my son's college and trying to ruin his career is not acceptable, especially when I have already spoken to them in the morning. The person Aditya Number [protected] / [protected] has been creating a nuisance since today morning. First he tells me that his collection executive met me in the morning at 9.30 am in my office. This is a blatant lie as I was nowhere near my office. To set the record straight, the lady in office called me and I spoke to her and in turn this collection executive spoke to me saying that he is from ICICI bank. He gave me Aditya's number and I called Aditya and told him that I need time to repay as I have too many financial problems. Aditya then called up a 72 year old senior citizen at noon and harrassed her with unwanted talks. He them called up my friend Annabel and told her that I had told him to call her as she will pay back my loan. This has been confirmed by my friend. When I am speaking to the bank, what makes the bank to take such unwanted steps/ I have told him repeatedly and asked for time, but he kept cutting the call and asking me by calling back as to why I was cutting the line. I have all the recordings of todays calls. I even spoke to some Nafisa and she agreed to apologise to my friend whom Aditya called. I assured that if they would first apologise on conference, I will start the talks of repayments. She said yes and later cut the line. The last call made by Aditya at 18.19 hrs, where he stated that he will call the entire society and harass them Looking forward to your help in the matter and as I said before, I need time to repay, but Aditya when he realised that I was recording suddenly started polite talk.
