[Resolved] ICICI Bank — icici bank charging for sms service

When i opened up my account i was told that the sms service is free but your provider may charge you for the sms that you receive. Turns out they were again lying to me. I was charge rs 17 for one quarter for sms services. I believe they will charge all customer every quarter and make corores like that.

Please teach these crooks some lesson. And enforce that they don't train their employees to lie to get business. This has to stop.

Updated by akumar1982 When i opened my account i was told that if i take and keep the no name debit card that comes with the kit i will not be charged otherwise i will be charged around rs200. I accepted to use the card in the kit to avoid charges but some days later i see that rs 177 has been deducted from my account twice as debit card charges. And i never ever applied for one nor did i receive a debit card with my name on it. I contacted icici bank multiple times via the icici bank phone app but no response.
I guess the only policy for icici bank it cheating and fraud with its customers.
