[Resolved] ICICI Bank — Icici bank - fraud debit card transaction through vin/payu | |||
Fraud Debit Card Transaction through VIN/PayU Today 05-SEP-2016 fraudulent transaction happened on my ICICI debit card for the amount of Rs.40, 000 in a total of 4 transactions. This happened when I was sleeping in the morning 5AM. The most surprising fact was that i didn't lose my debit card or given my card details or internet banking information or 3D secure pin and debit card was with me right when all these transactions was happening. It is very hard for me to understand that ICICI bank claims that the cards are secured and embedded with a chip, how is possible for someone to steal money from my account thru online transaction without knowing OTP/3D secure pin/ATM debit pin along with card expiry date and customer name on the card.
