I received a call from INDO SHOP, where they claimed to be from the service department and informed me that ICICI cardholders were eligible for an offer, including a discount card and a gift. Despite my clear refusal, the representative insisted that the offer was non-optional. She threatened that even if I didn’t agree, I would still be charged on my ICICI card, and I would have no choice but to pay the full amount. She assured me that I could cancel the offer if I faced any issues.
However, now I am being told that I can only cancel if they fail to provide assistance, which is an unreasonable condition. I was never interested in this welcome kit, and I even asked the executive to call me back later as I was busy. But she insisted that the call be completed immediately to release my kit. I made the payment, but during the verification call, I clearly stated my wish to cancel the offer. They directed me to contact another team, and despite several attempts, no one is helping me.
I am particularly concerned because this seems like a fraudulent practice tied to ICICI. They are pressuring customers into unwanted charges and making it difficult to cancel. I have made numerous calls, but the response has been consistently unhelpful and evasive. This feels like a scam, and I urge you to investigate this matter immediately.
