[Resolved] ICICI Bank — imposing penalty for late payment fee in spite dropping the cheque well in advance. late credit card | |||
Credit card no: [protected]. Dear sir, Sub: penalty for late payment I have deposited two cheques to your ramamurthy nagar branch (No. 342103 dt. 4.8.2017 for rs.6560 and 342104 for rs.1075 aug & september 2017) towards payment of icici credit card no. [protected]. Both the cheques have been deposited within the due date i. E before 10th. But in the statement it is indicated that the cheques have been cleared on[protected] and[protected]. It is surprise to note that you have imposed late payment fee when the problem is not because of me. Since both the cheques have been deposited on time i. E before the due date, late payment fee may be reimbursed at the earliest or reversal entry may be reflected in the statement. Now again this month also same thing happened. When i have not made any transaction this month only penalty is asked, I am using this card for many years i never faced such problem. Now this problem is due to depositing the cheque in the new branch which i will avoid in future. Pl address this issue. Request to reimburse the penalty amount.
