ICICI Bank — Improper customer care conduct | |||
I received a call 2 days ago about a icici credit card offer, I clearly mentioned I will confirm if I need it by next day. The next day the call came when I was in the middle of my work so did not attend. Today I received the call from the same person (I have the name and number) and she started saying what needs to be done to get the card. I then confirmed I did not need the card. Now she said that I should not be giving 'false commitments' and that she is not calling because she doesn't have a job. Also she hung up the call immediately and I could not ask her directly if she understood the 1st conversation in the first place. I am not sure if your customer care officials are trained but the way the official talked was not only immature but rude and intrusive. Please educate your personnel on how to talk and listen to a customer which is the basically expected from a customer care official. I am a salaried IT professional. Also I expect your officials know making calls might be their primary job but always attending it isn't for the customer. I have never once had this issue till date with other officials though.
