[Resolved]  ICICI Bank — kyc not approved for enps account

I have opened NPS account on Jan 4th, 2020 through eNPS option. The PRAN number is generated while the KYC verification is still pending from ICICI bank. As per the guidelines, the bank should have verified the details by checking with my account details of ICICI bank. But even after 10 days, the verification is pending. The bank's customer care executive informed me to go to bank for verification as online verification is only for subscribers registered through ICICI internet banking account. But as per rules, if I have account in the designated bank and mentioned those details while doing NPS registration, the bank must have received the intimation in their system & should do the verification themselves without myself visiting the branch. This second class treatment given to their own bank customers who have registered through NSDL portal is deplorable and against the rules and regulations prescribed by authorities.
It is high time the bank treats its customers fairly and resolve the issue expeditiously.
