ICICI Bank — Late fees and Finance charges levied even paying on due date

Address:Nagpur, Maharashtra, 440013

I made an ICICI bank credit card (4375-xx-xx-0007) online payment on the due date (4th Mar 2016) mentioned on the statement, the amount also got debited from my account on the same day- but the bank is charging me interest stating that it got the payment on 8th Mar 2016..
please help.
