This is 15 year loan LBCHD with good repayment history with only 6 months remaining.
In Month of June, Bank deducted double payment of EMI. I expected that additional EMI amount will be returned immediately. However it is not. Also, Bank is not using this amount for next EMI
Moreover, on bank support site, there is no option to create service request for such complaints (Only deliverables related and data modifications SR options).

I got a message that EMI due on 10th June, 2022 is bounced. By 15th June, I transferred Rs EMI amount to linked savings account for autopayment of EMI. To my surprise, this amount got blocked by savings bank for no reasons. When visited Bank branch, I was rather asked to make another EMI payment so that this amount can be released. So on 24th June, I made another payment of EMI. clearly marked the check that this is EMI payment.
However, the amount blocked is never returned back to my savings account. On contacting customer support, I am being told that this will be applied against principle re-payment and loan will be restructured without my request or consent. I am in need to money and have not breached the loan on repayment. So why such one sided decision without contacting or taking consent. I need my money back. Was this information helpful? |
In addition, in this month same thing has been repeated again. Amount is blocked in Savings account instead of EMI deduction.
