[Resolved] ICICI Bank — money debited from account for failed upi transaction. | |||
I was trying to recharge my jio phone number from jio app with upi payment method as on 05.09.2019. The transaction amount in 399.00. But the transaction was timed out and the recharge did not happen. Still even before the transaction could complete icici bank debited the money from my account. Since then i am doing lot of follow up. But the only response i am getting from icici is that the amount is credited to beneficiary bank (I. E. Jio's bank) & i should check with them. I have also checked with jio customer care & they have told me that they have not received the recharge request & hence if the money is debited from the bank account it should get credited in 10 days. But even after more than 20 days it is not credited back. The basic question is that if the transaction is timed out or failed how can the bank debit the money from my account.
