I initiated a transaction using money2world and received a notification that the transaction is submitted. The website says that the beneficiary will receive the money in 1 working day.
I am the sender and beneficiary in this case, and i did not receive the money even after 3 days. The online status shows money sent.
Sent an email to [protected]@icicibank.com quoting the details and after 2 days got a response that money is transferred and i must check with the beneficiary. I responded back that beneficiary(me) has not received the money. After 2 days they said they will raise a service request.
On the SR raised i was told that they needed some details from me thats the reason transaction is not complete.
COMPLAINT1: Why did the bank sit quietly for 5 days with my money while reporting that the transaction is complete?
A day after i sent the email i received another email asking for the same details. I responded back with the details second time. Next day i receive another email stating that a new Service request has been raised and that i will get an update by 06th feb..
COMPLAINT2: what is taking you so many days to transfer. A physical transfer of the money would probably arrive quicker.
COMPLAINT3: Why does your website incorrectly state that money transfer will be complete in 1 working day when you actually deduct the money from bank account, sleep on it for a couple of days then sleep over again for some more days all the while potentially running some fraud business using the money and earning all the interest.
COMPLAINT4: it has been more than 10 days now and by feb 06th it will be about 18 days for a online money transfer.. do you intend to complete it by then or is my money gone into a blackhole called ICICI Bank? Was this information helpful? |
