ICICI Bank — OTP going to random numbers | |||
I'm literally shocked at how OTPs which are meant to authenticate your online transactions are treated by the ICICI Bank with so much of callousness. I found my OTP going to some random number. I called the Customer Care and they informed that there has been a "system upgrade" at their end because of which this problem is occurring. My questions are as follows: 1. How can ICICI Bank deal with OTP so lightly? Specially when they themselves mention that OTP should not be shared with anyone their system themselves is sharing the OTPs to random numbers!!! 2. If ICICI Bank already know that there is a problem with their system why did they not fix it? 3. Why do they have to wait till the Customers face issues and register individual complaints? 4. After registering complaint I get this information that this will be resolved in 4 working days!!! Isn't there anything named "PRIORITY" and "URGENCY" in the Customer Complaint Categories?? This is a serious security flaw and ICICI Bank is treating it with lowest priority. Amazing!!! Was this information helpful? | |||

Already done that. SR[protected] is already logged in the system. Pathetic service by ICICI Bank. Next time I'll visit India I'll make sure to open an account with some other Bank.
