I have an NRE/NRO account with ICICI Bank that was created in Oct 2022.
However, I have not been even able to access my accounts online because the OTPs are not being sent to my international mobile number.
I live abroad (in Europe) and receive sms/calls from India from other institutions and private numbers, and it is only the ICICI OTPs that is not being sent to my number. When I try to send the userId to my mobile, I receive SMS from ICICI with the userId, but they are not sending the OTPs.
When I have raised the complaint with ICICI bank for over 6 months and still have not received any help, and as a result my account has become inactive. The helpline [protected]@icicibank.com has been totally useless, they keep sending me emails on how to generate OTPs, and are not helping in any way.
I tried contacting the branch directly still no help received so far.
It has been over 6 months and still no help from ICICI bank. This preventing any form bank transactions especially when I want to transfer some money home in India.
The bank clearly dont respect their customers and their products. Was this information helpful? |
